Each arrangement is meticulously crafted for 8 brass, 5 saxes, and 3 rhythm section instruments. The majority of the notations are hand-written in easily readable manuscript format, ensuring high quality and accuracy in the musical scores.
For added convenience and accessibility, some arrangements are also created using Finale software, catering to a wider range of musicians and music enthusiasts.

The charts are excellent and very diverse. There are so many things for the 1940's from the bands of Miller, Dorsey, Goodman and Shaw. In addition the majority of these offerings are rare but wonderful things you won't be able to find anywhere else I would bet. At the same time there are equally great things from the bands of Kenton, Herman, Basie and Ellington. It is like panning for gold. The entire group is like discovering gold, and in that there are some really rare and obscure nuggets that are outstanding. Now to make choices!

I found most are record copies or transcriptions and they are very accurate and true to the recordings. Many come from live radio performances and not just the studio recordings. When searching over the many other sites I have found that with the exception of this site, the others have a lot of overlap in their listings. Not the case here. These listings are unique and represent things difficult to find. I continue to have fun looking over the vast number of titles and making list after list of what I want next!
